Size of Gauge mesh: Precipitation over the areas in and around Tokyo, approx.190km from east to west and approx.120km from south to north, can be viewed. The observation areas are divided into small square meshes, for each of which the color showing the rainfall intensity is chosen from ten colors. The update cycle is 5 minutes.

The mesh size in the figure below is:
For the red region( ), a square with sides 150m,
For the other regions, a square with sides 250m.
